1937 webbing MK3  Ammo Pouches by GSE (General Service Equipment)

These 1937 webbing ammo pouches would have been similar to what a soldier would have worn in WW2, These pouches can carry clips of 303 rounds, Enfield magazines, grenades or a few sten gun magazines.

By the middle of the WW2 soldiers were fighting around the world, the deserts of North Africa, the hot jungle climate of Burma and the med but all would have been issued this same webbing set. If needed their khaki webbing was blancoed to the correct colour. Not all troops blancoed there webbing and many units in Europe and UK can be seen wearing natural coloured blancoed
