The AN6513-1 pack was the first design created to link up with the AN-6513 harness. This large pack tray, in the shape of a square, was utilized during missions in 1942 and 1943, until it was eventually replaced by the AN6513-1A barrel pack. The container was made sturdy by a rectangular steel frame and 5 phenolic stiffeners. To connect the canopy to the harness, mini risers and a spreader bar were used, which extended onto the back of the container.

The reproduction of the AN6513-1 square pack from the early war era faithfully replicates the original design. It includes all the necessary stiffeners, reinforcements, and a single handle on the opposite side of the ripcord. Inside, it is equipped with hesitator loops, an auxiliary record pocket, and pilot chute flaps, as per the standard specifications. Rigger tacked hooks, the original ripcord, and triple lift-the-dot snaps complete the ensemble.
