This entrenching tool cover was introduced in 1940 to carry the entrenching head and wooden handle. The pouch is hung from the belt using the 1" strap ends on the cross straps.
This green version has been made ready dyed to match the GSE 1937 webbing complete set and was used from around 1944 till the end of the war.
