This was provided to British soldiers during WW2 to carry the Mk V General Service Anti Gas Respirator.
The gas mask bag was used by British Army BEF soldiers before 1939 and many were lost during the retreat from Dunkirk.

Bag has 2" wide cotton neck strap with removable clip on right side.
110cm neck strap.
Waist strap with 3 drainage holes in bottom .
Size 10" x 10" 3"
