MKVII Brown ground sheet/cape

This is a quality  waterproof cape/ groundsheet thats been made just like the original from double rubberised cotton fabric and not using modern simpler methods like some replicas available and in the correct tan colour....

The British army soldier carried this waterproof ground sheet with him in the field and was issued from 1917 to the late 1940's

could be used as a:

    Waterproof ground sheet
    Shelter to keep you dry
    Cape by buttoning up the front


There are 18 holes punched along the circumference of the ground sheet, it measures 190cms x 85cms plus extra collar wrap over flap.  There are 4 buttons down the front and the centre of the back is slightly hollowed to allow for a small pack to be worn

Issued to soldiers to keep them dry it was carried on the outside of small pack when not worn. The MKVII cape  buttons up the front and has a large collar to keep the water out. You can also make a shelter to keep you dry in the field.
