Reproduction Royal Air Force Flight Engineer Half Wing Patch.

An aircrew brevet (or badge) is a badge worn on the left breast, above any medal ribbons, by qualified aircrew of the Royal Air Force.

Flight Engineers were part of the crew of large bombers, such as the Avro Lancaster, or other large air planes. The Engineer was responsible for monitoring the aircraft's engines and its other critical flight systems. They had a specialised control panel allowing for the monitoring and control of various aircraft systems.

They feature the E initial flanked by a brown wreath, alongside the white wing on a dark blue background.
