Armoured Tankers jacket.

These tankers jackets by Kay Canvas have the classic 2nd Armoured patch already sewn onto the shoulder so are ready to wear.

The Kay Canvas tankers jacket has a nice wool blanket type liner and a cotton outer with brown knitted cuffs and waist band for a neat finish.

The Kay Canvas 2nd Armoured Division Tankers jacket features:

    Heavy 100% cotton outer (thicker and heavier than the M41 jacket).
    Brown blanket type wool liner (70% wool, 30% Polyester).
    Chrome Talon zip up front, we have tied a leather  tab onto the zip pull which can be easily untied if you do not want the leather tab on the zip).
    Brown elasticated collar, cuffs and waist band, the colour of the elastic compliments the colour of the jacket and gives a nice vintage look to the jacket.

The colour and feel of these Tankers jacket is very similar to the American made ones from the late 1990's we have a couple which we purchased from the film set of "Band of Brothers" and these compare very well to them.

This is the most popular and the standard tankers jacket worn in WW2, it is sometimes called the second pattern as there was an earlier version which had different type of pockets.
