These US Army HBT (Herringbone Twill) trousers are an authentic reproduction of the 1943 pattern in OD7 Dark Shade Green. This model was worn by American soldiers during the second half of World War II as part of the standard fatigue and combat uniform.
Crafted from strong cotton herringbone twill, these trousers were valued for their durability and comfort. Featuring straight legs, reinforced seams, practical pockets, and belt loops, they are ideal for re-enactment, collectors, and everyday wear.
The HBT uniform was first introduced in 1941 as a work and combat uniform. In 1943, the design was updated with a darker OD7 Dark Shade Green, since the earlier OD3 (khaki/olive) was too light and conspicuous in European battlefields. These trousers were worn by infantry, tank crews, and support troops, and remained in use until the end of the war.
