American infantry WW2 M1938 tan canvas leggings. These are the standard US issue for world war two and are called either leggings or gaiters. 

These high quality US Army leggings are made by Kay Canvas using a specially milled cotton canvas which is stiffer than the common replica US leggings which are often softer so they do not keep their shape as good as these by Kay Canvas. These are like the original war time leggings 

Officially called "Leggings Canvas Dismounted M1938" these where worn by all Infantry troops in WW2 that wore ankle boots like the Leather Service boot and the Rough out boot. 

OD#3 colour canvas (often called khaki or tan) with black metal hook and eyelets, includes the laces.

The leggings have a strap which loops under the boot and fastens onto a special type if buckle on the outside of the leg. The leggings (gaiters) have a hook and eyelet system on the side which allows the gaiters to be adjusted around the leg. The hook and eyelets are worn on the outside of the leg.

When choosing your size please remember to allow for the thickness of your trousers that the leggings will be worn over. There is also some adjustment in size with the lacing system.
