An iconic World War II collector's item, this original US M1C Paratrooper Helmet was used by US Airborne troops during the famous Market Garden operation in 1944. The helmet consists of the original M1C outer helmet, with the regular helmet-liner and infantry chinstrap, and is an authentic piece from the period when the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions performed their parachute jumps in the Netherlands.

Features:

  • Authenticity: Used by American paratroopers during the Market Garden operation in 1944.

M1C Outer Helmet: The standard M1 helmet, made of steel, with an olive green color for camouflage.

Helmet Liner: The special liner designed for air landings, with an adjustable fit and canvas and leather elements for added comfort.

Infantry Chinstrap: The single leather strap that holds the helmet firmly in place, characteristic of regular infantry, but also often used by paratroopers in certain cases.

Use and Wear: This helmet has the necessary signs of use, making it a valuable piece for collectors of original World War II military equipment.

    Perfect for:
Collectors of authentic World War II memorabilia.

Historical reenactment groups focusing on the Market Garden operation.

Military enthusiasts looking for a unique and historically significant item.

The M1C helmet offers a glimpse into the dangers and daily life of American paratroopers during one of the largest airborne operations in World War II.

You can request us to apply any decal on this helmet. (is small additional cost though)
