WW2 US Officers side cap, this is the cotton tan garrison side hat for wear with the summer service uniform which is often called the chino's.
This officers side cap comes fitted with the black and gold officers braid.
Made from cotton this hat has the correct height to the hat so that when worn the top of the cap is not tight on the head like some replicas.
The officers garrison cap was worn with the officers rank fastened to the left hand side (rank badge not included).
The label inside reads "Cap Garrison khaki Officer's".
