USAAF Mechanics A3 Cap Khaki

Officially called "Cap, Mechanic's, Summer, Type A-3" it is made from Herringbone Twill (HBT) and has the shape of a baseball cap with large peak to keep the sun out of the eyes.

The peak on the cap was often shaped so it rolled.
