This WLA Jumper was worn by all members of the Womans Land Army while on active service, The classic look for a Land Girl member was  for the jumper to worn over the polo shirt with the Cord Breeches, long socks and when not doing manual work with a tie. The WLA jumper could also have be worn over the bib and braces during cold morning out in the Dairy.

Many WLA  jumpers were home knitted so there is a lot a various finishes but this one follows the actual issue design as closely as possible with 1/4 inch deep ribbings and a wide V neck, and made by the company that still supplies the British army with its Woolly Pully jumpers.
