American WW2 Armoured garrison cap.

This is the Armoured (Armored) Garrison cap worn by enlisted men (Privates, Sergeants etc,) with the A class dress uniform or with the wool trousers and shirt.

The O.D. (Olive Drab) wool garrison cap was worn with the A class dress uniform (4 pocket tunic or the short Ike jacket) and when you wearing the M9137 wool trousers and wool shirt, or with the likes of the M41 field jacket. It can be seen being worn around camp, while travelling and while training or simply down town at a dance or pub. It can be seen almost anywhere except the front line.

These Garrison caps are made by Kay Canvas and are made from a specially commissioned run of wool to ensure the correct colour and feel of the war time ones, do not confuse these with other replica hats which are made from a high nylon content.
