The Arab Shemagh scarf was traditionally held in place by a draw string cord, known as the Agal. The head covering was to protect you from the sun, dust and sand. This covering was normally a scarf formed of square of cotton material known as a Shemagh.
 
Our Agal has been updated and made of a semi elastic bungee cord and bound with Para cord to bring it up to date.
