These are replicas of the Sulfanilamide Packets issued to US Medics and Airborne Troops during WW2. During WW2 the Packets would have contained Sulfanilamide Crystals which were sprinkled onto an open wound before applying sterile dressing. This would help to prevent infections. The packets would contain 5 grams of the crystallised substance, as this was deemed sufficient dosage for an open wound.

Our replicas are empty, and do not contain any Sulfanilamide. They are for display use only, and are ideal for reenactors and historical displays. The packets are replicas of originals featuring the same text and design. They have sugar inside the packets in place of the crystals, which are for display purposes only - it is not for sweetening your coffee or treating a wound!
