This handcrafted Western gunbelt with holster is based on the classic late-19th-century revolver rigs worn by lawmen, cowboys, and frontier gunfighters.
Made from thick, vegetable-tanned cowhide in a dark brown tone, it features individually stitched cartridge loops and a holster designed for Colt Single Action Army (Peacemaker) revolvers.
The wide belt evenly distributes weight for comfort, while the heavy buckle and lace-tie holster ensure a secure fit.
Each piece is hand-cut, polished, and finished by a skilled Dutch craftsman — combining old-world workmanship with timeless Western heritage.
Historical Context
By the late 1800s, the gunbelt and holster had become an icon of the American frontier.
From cavalry scouts to ranch hands and silver-screen heroes of the 1950s–60s, this design represented both practicality and pride.
The Colt holster was more than gear — it was a statement of freedom and craftsmanship that defined generations of the Old West.
