Re-enactment of World War II & World War I
Reenactment, also known as living history, revolves around experiencing and portraying historical periods like World War I and World War II as authentically as possible. This goes beyond simply dressing up: it requires the right materials, the right fit, and the right equipment to match the story you want to tell.
At Delware Trading, you'll find reenactment clothing and equipment for both WWI and WWII, suitable for events, demonstrations, commemorations, and museum presentations. Whether you're just starting out or have been active in military reenactment for years, we're happy to help you make choices that are appropriate for the period, unit, and use. Our physical store is located in Papendrecht and can be visited by appointment.
Tip: always provide your clothing measurements in centimeters so we can provide you with the best possible advice.

Re-enactment WWII:
Re-enactment of the Second World War focuses on portraying military units, civilians, and support services from the period 1939–1945 as historically accurate as possible. Uniforms, equipment, and accessories vary greatly by country, unit, and year. Correct material selection and fit play a crucial role, especially during long-term use during events and commemorations.
Living history, heritage, and education:
Re-enactment and living history are used not only during events but also for educational purposes, museum presentations, and commemorations. By using historical clothing and equipment in a respectful and responsible manner, the past remains tangible and understandable for a wide audience.
